What’s the difference between SSL
(Solid State Lighting) and an LED (Light Emitting Diode)?
SSL is the next generation in LED’s. Traditional LED’s emit light from individual globes, while SSL – although still LED’s - emit light from a chip.

How it’s made.
Why Solid State Lightning?
SSL can be used to build energy-efficient lighting products, help protect the environment, reduce maintenance costs, provide superior lighting – with no UV, and they last much longer than traditional lighting products and produce little to no heat.
Just how energy-efficient is SSL?
SSL can save a minimum of 80% of the electricity used by incandescent bulbs, and a minimum of 60% of electricity used by fluorescents - saving energy and money.
